The wireless indoor outdoor thermometer temperature and humidity gauge features a bold, easy-to-read LCD screen that displays the current indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity percentages, as well as temperature and humidity percentage trend indicator arrows and daily high and low information. The display has a built-in tabletop stand and wall-mount option, allowing you to place the indoor hygrometer wherever it is most convenient for you and your home.
The device has a transmission range of up to 500ft (150m), though the range may be shorter based on interference present. The indoor and outdoor temperature range is -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C), and the humidity range is 10% to 99%. The temperature tolerance is +/- 2.0°F (+/- 1.1°C), and the humidity tolerance is ±2% from 30% to 80% and ±3% below 30% and above 80%.
The base station unit (receiver) measures 2.6" (Length) x 3.1" (Height) x 0.8" (Width), while the remote sensor (transmitter) measures 2.4" (Length) x 2.8" (Height) x 0.78" (Width). The wireless indoor outdoor thermometer temperature and humidity gauge feature includes all-time and 24-hour high and low records for temperature and humidity, which can be reset.
To synchronize the remote sensors, they should be placed in an open area, avoiding wall obstructions, routers, and other electronic products, as other high-frequency signals can cause interference. The sensors should not be placed under direct sunlight, as this can lead to higher temperature readings than the actual air temperature. The sensors must be placed upwards to ensure rain does not enter through the vent holes on the bottom, which allow the remote sensor to detect the environmental temperature and humidity.
The wireless indoor outdoor thermometer can display readings from up to three outdoor remote sensors that can be as far as 500ft (150m) away from the base station, providing precise and responsive readings with an accuracy of within ±1°C and ±2-3%RH, and a lightning-quick response time, taking measurements every 30 seconds to provide the most up-to-date and accurate readings available.
