The ThermoPro TP17 meat thermometer allows both experienced and inexperienced cooks to measure the internal temperature of their meat accurately and quickly. It features a temperature range of 14°F to 572°F (-10°C to 300°C) and an accuracy of ±1.8°F (±1°C). The probes and wires can withstand temperatures up to 716°F (380°C), making this thermometer suitable for a wide range of cooking applications, including barbecuing, baking, smoking, candy making, and cooking meat.
The package includes a digital meat thermometer, two stainless steel probes, a manual, and a AAA battery. It is important to note that the unit is not waterproof, and the probe and cable are not dishwasher safe, requiring hand washing with hot water and soap. Additionally, the base unit should not be submerged in water or exposed to any corrosive cleaning materials.
If the temperature exceeds or falls below the measurable ranges, the LCD screen will display the following letters: HHH for temperatures above range and LLL for temperatures below range.
